Your contacts are naked and crying out for images!
Zync will scan your contacts and assign images to each. It's just more fun when the phone rings. You can configure the application to use online images from gravatar.com, stock images that represent professions and businesses, and random "smiley" images from several fun sets. After a call or two you really will associate that monkey with your Uncle Pete and that smiley with the silly grin with your best friend.
Gravatar.com is a free service that lets anyone associate an image with an email address. If any of your contacts have done so, and you have their email address in your contact list, you'll see their gravatar when they call.

Zync will try to assign a semi-meaningful photo based on a contact's title or business. For instance, if the contact's title is "Doctor", or the business name has the word "Hospital" in it, Zync can assign an appropriate image.

You may choose from several sets of fun faces to randomly assign to your contacts. It's more fun than a blank screen, and, after a short while you'll come to associate the placeholder images with your friends and coworkers. We can't be held responsible if Zync randomly assigns a picture of an elephant to your boss or your fiancee.

The main screen shows you how many of your contacts already have an image... and how many are feeling neglected without one. Press the "go" button on the top of the screen to scan through your contacts adding images to each. That's all there is to it.
You have complete control over which images Zync assigns to your contacts. If selected, gravatar images are used when available. Next in order of priority is are the profession & business images. Lastly, an image is chosen randomly from any of the smiley sets you've selected.
When "Full Screen" is chosen, images will take up the whole screen when the phone rings. When "Mini" is chosen, a little thumbnail size image is used in the banner at the top of the screen.
Choose "Process blanks only" when you'd like to leave previous Zync images as they are and only add images to your recently added contacts. Choose "Reprocess all" when you'd like to re-randomize all your contact images with new Zync images (or check for updates from gravatar.com).

If you have lots of contacts, the process can take a while, especially the very last step of saving the changes to the Address Book. Sometimes that takes quite a while even for a small number of contacts.
